QLD: Two bodies found on Gold Coast
The bodies of two men have been found on the Gold Coast, one on Kirra Beach and the
second in the ocean two nautical miles east of Jumpin Pin Bar.
Acting-Inspector IAN ROBERTSON says fishermen found the decomposed body of a man at
noon floating in the ocean two nautical miles east of Jumpin Pin Bar.
Inspector ROBERTSON believes the body may be that of a missing Asian Tourist, who disappeared
off The Spit several weeks ago.
Meanwhile, beachgoers found the body of a man in his early 40s on rocks at Kirra Beach
this morning.
It is believed the man went for a midnight swim with his shoes clothes and wallet found
at Kirra Point, 100 metres from where his body was discovered.
Both bodies have been taken to Brisbane for post-mortem examinations.
